Our Story


 

Our origin story is one of triumph over adversity and reimagining our world. We went from working in experiential events to pivoting in a pandemic, to creating beautiful experiential products. Our mission has always been bringing our customers joyful experiences, and making every moment in life a special occasion.
The Home Moment was founded in 2020. We are three female entrepreneurs – Eileen Denham, Deirdre Young and Sinead Bailey Kelly. Collectively we have 48 years of experience in the events, branding and hospitality industry in Ireland. Deirdre, Eileen and Sinead have distilled their knowledge to bring beautiful experiences directly from their home to yours.
We are now leaders in sensory-based, therapeutic, sustainable candle products with an emphasis on wellness and self-care. The Home Moment is an earth-conscious, luxury candle brand, creating exceptional product-based experiences to elevate our customer’s quality of life.
Over the last year we have had to turn inwards, to slow down, and to reflect in our home spaces as we keep each other safe. During this time we were inspired to create ways to bring our local and global communities way to slow down and embrace the sweetness of a mindful lifestyle.
